The Most embarrassing night of my life!

    Embarrassment. The one thing we always try to avoid and the one thing which probably never will avoid us! Being a typical Indian girl I’ve come across many such situations, but that one night surely overcomes all..

    I woke up all excited and with a huge epiphany. Of course I was excited because I was going out to party with my awesome friends. I was all prepared. I had packed up my bag with all the essentials – ‘makeup, lotions, perfume, creams, heels, party dress, etc etc. After the office I went to my friends place.  I spent exactly an hour and a half to get ready.(Pff… and they say women don’t get ready on time) I met my friends and we got ready to go out with a bottle of Blender’s pride! 2 and a half pegs of pure elixir.

    We got into a cab and went to a pub. It was the one I had visited on my first night out. It was this cozy little place with nice romantic lightings, a small stage for dancing and a huge bar! Being a localite, this was only my second night-out of my life since I am from a very orthodox family. So, I have one motto in life, grab an opportunity before it slips! Living by my motto, I went bonkers… 2 beers and one vodka shot down I was completely out of control. Well I had great friends to support me!

    Drunk and wasted we danced for hours like crazy. I don’t remember much but I could swear I was running to my friends and kissing them on cheeks and muttering ‘I love u soo much’. I also think I fake cried a bit. I guess..

     Anyways, it was almost time for the DJ to play Bollywood songs and me to bust a move with my friends when it happened. We decided to order another round of shots. Me and my friend shouted, Shots! Shots! Shots! And that’s when my friends should have stopped me! But they didn’t.

     That’s when all hell broke lose. My 2^nd vodka shot and I was down on my face. My friends picked me up and I threw up right on the table. I guess I ruined a beer can. My friend rushed me to the bathroom which I don’t even remember going to. I got back in after getting cleaned up by my good friend. But that wasn’t it, after a min my girl friend threw up and everybody else was left to clean up our mess. Obviously the bar charged us a fine for our nice touch to their interior and threw us out. I know, rude right?

     We went home and I cried myself to sleep that night, too embarrassed to get up and face anyone!

So, that was the most embarrassing night of my life! Sure we laugh about it now, but only I know how much I regretted that last vodka shot! Next day, I apologized to everyone and went home in all the hangover. Now when I recall it, I don’t remember the vomit or the passing out, I remember the laughs we shared. The dance, the best words spoken for each other. A new friendship being born. And most of all, realizing that I have the best of friends who can turn my really embarrassing night to the most memorable one!  

Yeah I was embarrassed, and yeah my friends make sure I remember that night because how else can they make fun of me! But now when someone asks me “how was the night? “ I just smile and say “the best one yet”
